That is how we have been able to compete and stay in business through over 100 years of change. 

We originally started as Gitzen Candy Company making and selling candy to the stores in our area. Over the years, we expanded our offerings to include tobacco, paper products, janitorial supplies, chemicals, food service supplies, chips, snacks, batteries and everything in between. We now stock thousands of products, and due to our long lasting relationships that we have with manufacturers and distributors around the country, we have access to hundreds of thousands of the best and most innovative products that the industry has to offer.

So how do you start doing business with Gitzen? It’s simple, just call or email us. You can place an order and pay on delivery or pick-up. You may also start an account with us and we can discuss terms, pricing, allocations, etc. 

Delivery Schedule:

  • 4-5 days a week: Houghton and Hancock

  • Wednesday: Chassell and Baraga through L'Anse

  • Thursday: Calumet, Dollar Bay, Lake Linden and Mohawk

  • Friday: South Range, Ontonagon and Bruce Crossing through Mass City. Additionally, spring through fall, we also run a route to Keweenaw County up to Copper Harbor on Friday.

Our Delivery fee is $3.00 for businesses and there is a suggested $50.00 minimum order. Additionally, you may place an order of any size and schedule a pick up at our warehouse at no extra cost.
